Produced by the Warner Animation Group, “The Lego Batman Movie” will be the one to open the 2017 superhero movie season. It is a spin-off of “The Lego Movie” (2014), and, as the title itself suggests, it has Batman as the focus of attention. Will Arnett will take on the role of Caped Crusader, and other crew members include Ralph Fiennes and Michael Cera. The movie will hit the theaters on February 10, 2017.
The long-awaited movie featuring Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman) is finally set to be delivered on March 3, 2017. The bad news is that this will be Jackman’s last portrayal of the character. Besides him, we will also see Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Stephen Merchant as Caliban, Dafne Keen as Laura and others.
Yes, we know some of you might wonder why this film is on the list of the superhero movies, but, the Rangers are super-powered heroes after all. The film is directed by Dean Israelite, and it will star Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Banks and Bill Hader. The release date is scheduled for March 24, 2017.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Based on the “Guardians of the Galaxy,” first released in 2014, the upcoming sequel continues to follow the Guardians’ journey throughout the universe. Some of the cast members are Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper, expect to see this one on May 5, 2017.
Not so long ago two Warner Bros’s movies, “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Suicide Squad,” have been described as “flawed products.” However, that didn’t stop the company from distributing the forthcoming movie “Wonder Woman,” whose storyline revolves around the Amazon Princess Diana (played by Gal Gadot). The film will see the light of day on June 2, 2017.
Having proved that he can be trusted with a great role such as that of Spider-Man in “Captain America: Civil War,” Tom Holland is once again given this part in the upcoming “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” After what Marvel Entertainment had gone through with the two Amazing Spider-Man movies, this will be their great opportunity to come back to the big screen. The release date is set for July 7, 2017.
We know it has been speculated that this title will be completely removed from Marvel’s cinematic schedule, but you don’t have to worry about that anymore. The movie has been confirmed to debut on September 1, 2017, but, What we still don’t know for sure is whether Vin Diesel will take part in this project or not.
This superhero movie also had a question mark over itself for quite a long time, and it was actually considered to be one of Marvel’s most problematic projects. However, its producers refused to give up on the movie, and thus it has been scheduled to premiere on November 3, 2017.
“Justice League” is another long-awaited superhero movie, for it was announced more than two years ago. It is directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio. The film will star Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot in lead roles of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman respectively. “Justice League” will hit the theaters on November 17, 2017.
