There is almost no doubt about the fact that DeMarcus Cousins won’t be a member of the Sacramento Kings in the near future. His contract is expiring in the summer of 2018, but it’s likely that Kings are not going to wait for him to leave them while they get nothing in return. If they try to trade him in 2018, just a couple of months before his deal expires, they are not going to get nearly as much as if they pull the trigger right now. They need that one go-to guy on the squad and a big-name player that they just couldn’t get in the past couple of offseasons. DeMarcus Cousins could just be what they are looking for.
1. BOSTON CELTICS – This is the team that has the most to offer to Kings and the squad in which Cousins fit very well basketball-wise. He would be a great Celtic, he would be under control as Celtics organization is non-comparable to this Kings one. Veterans on this team would do their job, while Kings will get some good stuff in return.
