The American film director Ang Lee assorts Vin Diesel into the growing cast of his upcoming movie Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk and the both sides seem to be extremely happy with this new collaboration. The film is based on the bestselling novel written by Ben Fountain.
According to the famous director, Vin Diesel will be perfect for this role that he has visioned. On the other hand, satisfied for working under the direction of Ang Lee, Vin has dedicated himself to this role to such as extent that he has prepared himself by doing his boot camp. The preparation included hard work and much training on a beach.
Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk depicts the time during and after the Iraq war as well as the relations among fellow soldiers. The main role is taken by the actor Joe Alwyn who is playing a young war veteran, Billy Lynn, whereas Vin Diesel is playing a professional soldier, also involved in these battles. It is considered that the movie will give many new insights into the history regarding this war.
