Chicago’s win against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8 was impressive, but it really has no impact on their chances of making the Playoffs. Yes, it was good for the fans to get that win over the divisional foe, but still, Chicago’s season at this point is pretty much done.
Bad and inconsistent. Two words that can be used when we are talking about Chicago. Their best player this season Bryan Hoyer broke his hand, so it forced them to get back to Jay Cutler. We are not going to lay down some ground-breaking news when we say that Cutler is not liked in Chicago and that they would rather see him play somewhere else.
Buccaneers, on the other hand, are a bit better team, but not by much. They had an up and down year and definitely have some problems that they need to fix before the next season starts. That defense needs to be buffed in the offseason while Winston needs to keep improving and working on his game.
We think Winston will have a big game against the Bears. Their defense is not impressing anyone so Jameis company might be able to put up a lot of points on the board. If Winston tries to spread the ball and not only throw it to Mike Evans, Bucs will have a good day on Sunday.
Even though their season is likely done, Bucs do have a thing to play for. Their QB is still young and improving, and every single game that he plays is important in his development. That is why all of these duels are important for them, even if they don’t have any real Playoff implications. We think Winston will have a great day and Buccaneers will win this one in Tampa with the final score of 30:17.
