Drew Brees was somehow able to lead this team to decent record even though their defense is one of the worst of the decade. Nobody really knows who are they playing at corners and what are they thinking. Still, Brees is putting up monster performances and the numbers that are keeping the Saints alive in this division. They still have a shot at the postseason, but they need to be winning this kind of duels.
Kaepernick has had some time to adjust at Niners starting quarterback position. He will have a great chance to shine against the Saints as their defense is not on the elite level. This is his time to prove himself and get himself going. Niners have nothing to lose here since their season is already over, most that they can do is save their jobs. And when we say that, we are actually talking about their head coach Chip Kelly.
Falcons’ late victory against Green Bay Packers didn’t help the Saints, but still, they are in a good position. Drew Brees will have to shine yet again if they want to win. This game is a road contest for the Saints, and that gives us a cause to pause when we are picking the winner of this match. They are much better at home, but for their sake, this one should go in their favor.
Still, Niners are a mess right now, they are missing some key players on the defensive side of the ball. That might be the deciding factor when you are going up against a QB like Drew Brees. It’s going to be a high-scoring game that New Orleans will win 34:26.
