Ezekiel Elliott has proved that he is one of the best-running backs in the NFL. Yes, he is running behind the best o-line in the game, but he needs to be given credit. Elliot is gaining a lot of yards after the contact, and that was pretty obvious against the Eagles.
Dallas’ rookie carried the ball 22 times and gained 96 yards on the ground. He didn’t have any TDs on a day. Nevertheless, he had a productive day and was extremely useful for Jason Garrett and the Cowboys offense.
This man is also capable of catching short passes out of the backfield and running with it for big gains. Every time he makes a catch, he is off to the races and Cowboys are looking good when Elliot is running wild with the ball. Rookie Runner caught four passes and had 53 receiving yards to go with his 96 yards on the ground.
Dallas is using him in many different ways, and there is no doubt about the fact that he is vital to this offense. Elliot is a great runner, but he is just as deadly in a short passing game. Running with the ball off the catch on an open field is what he does great, and Dallas needs to keep feeding him in order to open up other receivers and passing game options for Dak Prescott.

It is time for Elliot to get his shine and to be in the spotlight.
