Fisker Inc. is a newly-established company by Henrik Fisker, who posted a photo of the new car on Twitter. The new electric vehicle is said to have a range of 400 miles and on the picture, we can see the front end of the car.
The car looks like it comes out of a video game and the chances are slim that the production vehicle will be any similar to what you can see. As Fisker said, the focus was aerodynamics and that is the reason why the car looks like this.
As we can see, the front grille will be left out whereas, the car will be equipped with adaptive LED headlights. Just for comparison, revised Tesla Model S also has no grille. In addition, the new car will use centrally-located radar together with the camera sensor.
Fisker’s first photo showed a side of the car with beautiful dihedral doors and it really looked amazing. However, the front end is not pretty at all and something needs to be changed. For the record this is the same man who designed Aston Martin V8 Vantage and DB9, so we know he can do better.
In the meantime, Fisker Karma, which doesn’t exist anymore, goes under the name of Karma Revero, and the new electric vehicle is supposed to be the successor. Next to the butterfly doors, in the words of the owner the car will be “sporty and spacious”. The car is expected to go on sale in winter 2017. The battery will be produced by Fisker Nanotech.
