Deadpool has been one of the most popular superhero movies lately and it has become the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time. Since the audience was amazed, they decided to film the sequel and there have already been a lot of rumors and speculations about the new film.

The latest and most shocking news is that director of the Deadpool 2, Tim Miller declared that he would no longer take part in a production of the movie, due to creative differences with the star, Ryan Reynolds. According to some fans, Tim Miller needs to be replaced with no-one else but Quentin Tarantino. But is this a good solution?

This is why the fans started a petition, but we are not sure whether it is going to change anything. However, it would be interesting to see Tarantino directing the new movie. In fact, the director of Pulp Fiction, Django Unchained and the latest Hateful Eight may be the perfect man for the job.

First of all, we need to mention various cultural references which appear in Deadpool. For example, we have references regarding Green Lantern and Golden Girls, but also many other. Tarantino’s attitude towards pop culture fits ideally with Deadpool’s traits. He is capable to analyze into details the song from Madonna “Like a Virgin” and make that an interesting conversation. Just take a look at the Reservoir Dogs opening scene.

Secondly, Tarantino knows how to add violence into the movie and improve the story with it. Everyone who has seen the original Deadpool knows that there is a lot of violent content in it and they always wanted to show it to the audience. So in this aspect, there is hardly anyone better than Tarantino.

Thirdly, Tarantino could improve narrative in the sequel. Deadpool had a pretty simple and straightforward story which was kind of predictable. If you watched any of Tarantino’s movies you must be familiar with his story-telling strategies. His screens are jumping from future to the past to present and it rarely follows a linear order.

Furthermore, He only creates R-rating movies. All of his movies are brutal and vulgar with a lot of blood and sometimes with a great sense of humor. The next Deadpool movie needs a director who is not going to hesitate to add raw elements and lots of blood into the movie.

Moreover, Tarantino is famous for breaking genre conventions and changing the style of movies. Considering that Deadpool is more of a parody than an actual adaptation of the comic book is another reason for Tarantino to be in charge. One example for this is Django Unchained. Now imagine that with a comic superhero. He could create something no-one has ever seen before.

Last but not least, Tarantino is a big fan of comic books and his desire is to make a movie based on one. In 1990 he almost ended up as a director of Luke Cage, but if that had happened we probably wouldn’t have Pulp Fiction today. So being a huge fan of comic books is another advantage.
