Ever since we were kids, the debate who is stronger – Batman or Superman – has been inevitable. This year we finally had a chance to watch these two superheroes going at each other in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. In the movie, Ben Affleck, who played Batman fought Henry Cavill in the role of Superman. However, Batman, played by Christian Bale, goes against Brandon Routh’s Superman in a new fan-made trailer.
The trailer lasts for 2 minutes and we have inserted scenes from Superman Returns, The Dark Knight trilogy and Dawn of Justice. In the original Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Lex Luthor is plotting behind the scenes when Superman and Batman are preoccupied with each other. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, check it out. Furthermore, in the new trailer, we can see Wonder Woman and overall it is really intense.
The trailer doesn’t only contain various scenes from different movies, but some shots are manipulated and new effects and characters appear in it. It is clearly seen that someone put a lot of effort in it, and the result is fascinating.
The only issue with this trailer is the general tone. While the Superman is likable the Batman is presented as a very dark character. Don’t get me wrong, some sort of darkness is fine with Batman in question, but the distinction between tones of two superheroes in the trailer is large.
The next movie where we will see Batman and Superman together is Justice League which will hit theaters on November 17, 2017. Only this time they will be on the same side. In the meantime, look at the fan-made trailer here.
