Eagles have lost two games in a row and all of a sudden they are no longer even in the second place of the NFC East. They have two very tough games coming up, and the first one of them is against the only undefeated team in the NFL that is coming off a bye week.
Minnesota Vikings have had a lot of time to rest up and scout their next opponents. Stefon Diggs should be back this week as he had additional time to rest. But this defense is what wins games for Vikings, and that’s why they will lean on them one more time to get the job done.
Eagles are in a small slump, and they will have a tough time getting out of that against this team. Rookie QB Carson Wentz has been mostly good so far, but it will be interesting to see what he can do against a team like the Vikings. Eagles also need to give the ball to their running backs and let them either run or catch the ball out of the backfield. They need to mix it up on offense in order to confuse this elite Vikings defense.
In the end, this is a game in which Carson Wentz needs to step up and win the game for the Eagles. We think he will be good, but just not good enough to make the final step and take it. Vikings should win this match 24:20, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Eagles somehow pull this off.
