Real Madrid beat Real Betis in Saturday’s match of round eight of the La Liga. The final score was 6-1 in favor of Santiago Bernabeu team, and fans and pundits alike had a lot of reasons to celebrate.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored the sixth goal of the match was one of those who celebrated the most. He posted a picture of himself on Instagram wishing a good morning to all. Ronaldo is, like most of the celebrities, very active on social networks, so if you are asking us what’s so special about this picture we’re about to tell you.
Lamborghini Aventador. This beast of a car is said to produce horsepowers in a region of 515-552 KW. Cristiano was pictured posing next to a £260,040 model. Pennyworth for Ronaldo, we assure you.
Back to the score-sheet, the 6-1 thrashing of Real Betis was Real Madrid’s first win in last four rounds of 2016-2017 La Liga season. Previous three outings all ended with a draw. The game was opened by Raphael Varane who scored a goal in 4th minute of the match. By the half-time, it was 4-0 for Real Madrid. After Varane, goals were scored by his Countryman Benzema, Brazilian international Marcelo and Spanish midfield maestro Isco.
The second half was started with Cejudo consolatory goal for Betis, but it ended with two Madrid’s goals from Isco and their first violin Cristiano Ronaldo. In a game where Real Madrid scores so many goals, it would be a real rarity if Ronaldo didn’t score.
Real Madrid currently stands second on the table of La Liga. They are trailing Atletico Madrid only by a goal difference. Barcelona sits on the third spot two points behind Madrid giant.
Next game for Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates is Champions League match on Santiago Bernabeu against Legia Warsaw. Same as in the La Liga their previous game in this elite European competition ended in a draw ( 2-2 against BVB).
Ronaldo scored four goals in seven outings for Real Madrid this season, all matches counted. This is not a start Ronaldo expected and certainly not one we are used seeing from him.
The duel with Legia is a perfect opportunity for Ronaldo to improve his numbers. So watch out Warsaw boys, Ronaldo is hungry, and it seems his diet is finally over.
