2018 Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera has been spotted on Nurburgring track, alongside the V12 Aventador.
The testing season is about to end on Nurburgring and Lamborghini tries to use their time the best they can. The Huracan Superleggera showed up and we couldn’t miss the chance to take some spied photos.

The rumors that the new car will be with RWD have been circulating for a while. The key argument for those who predict this is that the Huracan can save 73 lbs if it gets rid off front axle power delivery.

We are not sure that they are going to switch from AWD to RWD that easily. The first thought would be that the Gallardo’s two Superleggera models remained with the AWD. Secondly, if Huracan LP580-2 switched to the RWD, it would lose a battle against McLaren and Ferrari, because it wouldn’t feel as sharp as with the AWD. So, RWD doesn’t seem like a logical move.

Nevertheless, the new Superleggera will be about 220 lbs lighter. In addition to that, the V10 unit is supposed to produce around 650 hp which will make this machine more aggressive.

The lap time of the Huracan LP610-4 was 7:28, but the car’s ABS, which was not calibrated to work with the optional Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R rubber, affected the timing. It is estimated that the lap time of the new Huracan Superleggera will be close to the one of the Aventador SV’ time which was under 7 minutes.
