Fisker Is Coming To Electric Car Market With New And Improved Technology

We could hear bold claims from Henrik Fisker about his new car that will bring features “never seen before” on EV market. We know that last time Fisker didn’t have much success but will it be different this time and does Tesla have to fear for their position on the market?

Three years after the bankruptcy of Fisker Automotive that created high-luxury high-priced vehicles with electric powertrain we are getting news about the new life of Tesla rival. Karma was very popular among celebrities, but it failed on offering both performances and features that you would expect from such expensive vehicle.

We don’t know what has changed, but the statement from this man suggest that he is ready to offer a lot more than the last time. He said that new vehicle will come “with a patented battery that will deliver a significantly longer life and range than any battery currently on the market.” On top of that, we could hear: “Both the technology and the market are more mature now than when we first started out as pioneers in the electric vehicle industry, and our new vehicle will be the most innovative and cutting-edge e-car ever created.”

Can this be done? Could we get another competitive EV manufacturer? New technology and improvements that are mentioned here suggest a revolution in the segment. And according to the creator of the car this one should affect some major players on the market and change the world.

To make this happen Fisker stated that the company needs to bring improved design of the battery and electric motors plus further optimization of software. Advanced materials will be used in all segments, and it is not clear if the battery will be using currently standard Li-Ion or Li-Poly technology or something new is coming.

One part of the statement that might indicate technology switch says: “we need radical new battery technology and battery pack integration.” While we are not sure if revolutionary things will be offered here it is possible that Fisker is preparing something that could force even the biggest companies to think about their strategy.
