One of the rookie QB that everybody is talking about is Dak Prescott. He and Carson Wentz have taken the NFL by the storm, but there is one huge difference between these two quarterbacks. Unlike Wentz who has the keys to this offense handed to him, Dak Prescott is a backup who is trying to impress Cowboys’ higherups.
Prescott and his Cowboys will go up against the 49ers in San Francisco. This game won’t be an easy one for Dak and company. The 49ers defense is quite good, and Prescott will have some troubles in this match.
Dez Bryant is likely going to miss this game, and even though Dak said that he really doesn’t care about which receiver is getting the ball, he will miss Bryant if he is unable to go on Sunday.
Can Cole Beasley and Terrence Williams win a game on the road for the Cowboys? Sure, they are better than San Francisco at the moment, but a loss for the ‘Boys here wouldn’t surprise anyone.
Prescott should have a decent game, but it will be hard for him to find the end zone. Without Dez, he really doesn’t have that great red zone threat that he needs. Witten is probably his best option in that situation, but that could still be a little troubling.
We expect him to score one TD, via run or a pass, but we also think that he is going to throw his first pick of the season. 200 passing yards sounds about right for him in this game on 17/26 passing. Let’s see if he can exceed our expectations or maybe he even fails to meet them.
