When we think about these two teams, the first thing that comes to our mind is their high-powered offenses and shootouts. But, we also have in mind they awful defenses and them being the reason these teams are not top spot contenders. This will be an interesting Monday Night Football game, and we expect a lot of points in this duel.
Saints defense has looked impressive against the Giants, but that was probably an aberration. Don’t expect them to play as good on defense as they did in New York. Raiders torched them in Week 1 and Atlanta should be able to put up a lot of points.
And that goes both ways. New Orleans offense led by Drew Brees is looking great again, and they will be locked and loaded for Monday. They are one of the best offenses but their defense just annuls what Brees and company do.
Mark Ingram should be the difference maker for the Saints who are a pretty good team at home. New Orleans’ Running Back had two pedestrian games in first two weeks, but that should change against this Falcon defense.
There is no doubt that this is a great week for all fantasy players who have Falcons’ and Saints’ players on their squad. That’s excluding their defenses. Then again, who is crazy enough to put their D in their lineup?
Matt Ryan will be able to hook up with his receivers, and they will score a lot. Still, it just might not be enough to beat Saints offense on Monday night. Do you like watching a good shootout? Well then, if you do, you just can’t miss this game. Brees and his team are our picks to win this match in a really close and fun contest. The final score should be somewhere along the lines of 38:33 in favor of the home team.
