Reigning NFC North champions had made a step in a right direction this past Sunday when they smashed the Packers. They have stolen the division from them last season, and now they are leading the way after two games. After the important win, they are facing an even tougher test against reigning NFC champions, the Carolina Panthers.
Mike Zimmer proved that he can coach the defense and that he can slow down Aaron Rodgers. It’s going to be interesting to see what this defense does against one of the best players in league Cam Newton and this Panthers offense.
And they’ll need to step up and give the Vikes a chance. Peterson is out, and we are expecting that their offense will struggle. They have now three Running Backs that will try to replace AP. He didn’t give them much in his first two games, but still, he is always a threat and teams needed to prepare a full gameplan for him.
Cam and company destroyed the 49ers at home after the loss in Denver and are looking to ride that momentum and get back to doing what they were doing last season. Just win a bunch of games.
Quarterbacks should have a decent day, but if you have either of them in your fantasy lineup, you should not expect them to win you your matchup.
We expect the Vikings to put up a fight early on, but we don’t see them winning this game in Carolina. Panthers should pull away in the second half and win this game 27:17.
