Tom Segura’s Bio
Although born in Ohio, Tom Segura grew up in Florida, in Vero Beach. He has two sisters, and his childhood was unique in every way.
Although always praised for his sense of humor, it wasn’t until he graduated Lenoir-Rhyne University that he decided to make a career in comedy. Originally, it was a way for him to deal with his challenges and numerous frustrations in life.
When he was 18, tom overdosed on GHB, also known as liquid ecstasy. His sister found him unconscious and called 911. Paramedics were able to stabilize him before transferring him to a hospital and fortunately, he was able to continue his life without consequences. Doctors told him that he had such a severe reaction because he was overweight.
Segura’s Family
Tom married Christina Pazsitzky in 2008. She is also a comedian, and the couple was in a relationship for years before they decided to marry. Together they host a podcast called Your Mom’s House.
They have two kids, both sons, born in 2016 and 2018. Kids’ names are Elis and Rowe.
Career
Tom Segura is considered a somewhat controversial comedian, due to the topics he chose to make fun of. Lately, he got in trouble by suggesting that the US should build a wall around Lousiana, instead of on Mexican border. Canadian Down Syndrome Society accused him of hate speech because of his jokes about disabilities.
So far, he has released five albums (Thrilled, White Girls With Cornrows, Completely Normal, Mostly Stories, and Disgraceful). The last two were published as Netflix stand-up comedy specials.

Your Mom’s House started at the Deathsquad Network. After doing 40 episodes, the couple decided to go on their own and took the production in their hands. With the help of an anonymous producer only known as Blueban, they have turned the podcast into a massive success.
In 2012, the show was nominated for the Best Comedy Podcast at the Stitcher Awards. It made it to the finals, along with Smodcast, The Adam Carolla Show, the Joe Rogan Experience, The Nerdist, and WTF with Marc Maron. Your Mom’s House lost, but the competition was fierce.

Tom Segura has appeared in numerous movies, TV series and shows. His first TV appearance was in 2007, in Live at Gotham comedy show. In 2008 he was on BET’s Comicview. 2009 was very successful for Tom, as he was cast in three shows, Gary Unmarried, Atom TV, and Russell Peters Presents.
His first comedy album Thrilled came out in 2010. The following year saw him in Mash Up, Hollywood’s Top Ten, Comedy Central Presents, as well as in Conan, where he was a guest comedian.
