Sometimes it just seems that Dallas Cowboys simply don’t have luck when it comes to picking some of their players. Most recent is the news about America’s Team player that has been arrested for public intoxication.
Frisco Police Department issued a press release saying that at about 4:45 a.m. Terrance Williams crashed his 2017 Lamborghini into a light pole and immediately fled the scene of the incident. Everything happened somewhere in the area of Frisco Green Avenue and Lebanon road, but Williams wasn’t present when the police arrived.
Not long after, FPD determined that the supercar belongs to Williams and proceded with the investigation only to find America’s Team wide receiver near his residence. At the moment of the arrest, he was riding an electric bicycle and was immediately taken into custody for public intoxication.
Soon after he was jailed, Terrance was released from the Frisco Detention Center on a $369 bond. Figure a lot lower than what he will need to pay for the repairs of the Lambo he crashed. Because he left the scene of an accident, he also received a misdemeanor at large charge.
According to the source close to the most expensive sports franchise in the world, team and the officials are aware of the arrest. We saw a lot of action in Dallas during the offseason at the receiver position, but this definitely doesn’t look good for Big D franchise and their player.
After Dez Bryant, squads No. 1 receiver left the Dallas, they decided to bring in free agents Deonte Thompson and Allen Hurns, while Michael Gallup and Cedric Wilson were drafted. On top of this, the new coach of receivers Sanjay Lal has joined the coaching staff.
Let’s get back to the Terrance Williams situation. Another important thing to add to this story is the fact that he has been out of the game with a fractured foot and he will be missing a lot before his season starts.
