Daniel Bryan’s First Singles Match On PPV In Three Years Is Announced

WWE has had their first two shows since the Superstar Shakeup happened. On Monday we got to see the new-look Raw roster in action, while we had a chance to check out what Smackdown Live is going to look like from now on, on Tuesday Night. We have the Greatest Royal Rumble event coming up, as well as the Backlash show just a week after.

All of this is causing all kinds of confusion. The writers don’t know what to build for, so they have tried to get us hyped for both of the shows. Things that we have seen on these two shows are leading us to believe that they care more about the build for the Backlash, but they made sure that they promote the Greatest Royal Rumble event as much as they could.

That is why we have seen a huge amount of ads during the shows for the event on Friday.

In the midst of all of this chaos, we have one match announced for the Backlash PPV and it is going to be a big one. Big Cass has come out instead of Daniel Bryan during The Miz TV and cut a promo on why he doesn’t like him and why he is going to make sure that he gets back to being retired.

Then, he took Bryan out, which caused for this match to be booked at the next pay per view event. There is a good reason why they booked this showdown out of the blue moon.

Big Cass just made his return and the company wants to make him a heel. A big one. So, the best way for them to do that is for Cass to go up against the biggest babyface in the company.
