The father of Dwayne The Rock Johnson recently had hip surgery. Everything went well, and he even came out richer from it.
The star of upcoming films Rampage and Skyscraper, Dwayne Johnson, posted a photo on Instagram which shows himself, his 73-years old father Rocky Johnson, and Rocky’s new car, a Cadillac Escalade. People’s Champ explained in the photo caption that this SUV is present his dad asked for and got after his hip surgery.
“My pops just had his hip replaced and called me and said ‘Hey Mr. D the surgeon really feels like I should have a bigger car since my hip rehab..’ I cut my dad off and just started laughing because I knew what he was hustling for,” Johnson wrote in the photo caption.
Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle star is known as a generous man primarily to members of his family, so he responded with: “I said ‘say no more..I got you.. just go down and pick out what you want’ then we hung up, and hours later I get this pic.”
Johnson continued this post by saying how his father made him tough from a young age: “He’d kick my a*s from one side of the gym to the other for years.” But The Rock learned the life lessons from time with his father as a kid: “I hated it when I was a kid, but grateful for it as a man. I’m lucky I could do this and thanks for the a*s kickins.”
And, let’s not forget Johnson’s funny side which he always shows on social networks. The first thing he wrote besides the photo of himself, father Rocky, and new Escalade was: “We all got daddy issues lol.”
