Dallas Cowboys had another disappointing season, but that doesn’t mean that their fans are going to stop buying their merchandise.
Dallas franchise just finished another up and down year with 9-7 record and no postseason berth. The 2017 season was more about Ezekiel Elliott controversy that about football for Cowboys. Like every year things could go for the worse than what 9-7 record represents, but they should have been better. Cowboys faithful certainly expected better.
But despite the team failing to perform up to Cowboys standards their fans did their best to represent the star across the country.
According to NFLPA among top 15 NFL stars in merchandise sales, America’s Team has four players. Their QB-RB duo Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are topping the list and are standing back to back. Rest of the players on the list include:

Clear signs of just how large and loyal Dallas Cowboys fan base is lies in the fact that Dak Prescott is selling more merchandise than any other player despite having a down year and being blamed for Cowboys lack of power on the offense. What comes as an even bigger surprise is that Ezekiel Elliott is standing just behind him despite being suspended for six games during the season.
The other two players that move most of the Cowboy merchandise on the NFL market are legendary Jason Witten and their No1 receiver Dez Bryant.
So despite the lack football success in recent years, the Dallas Cowboys are still one of the most popular teams in the NFL. Jerry Jones, the Cowboys owner, made Dallas team the most valuable sports franchise in the world. So, it’s no wonder they are called America’s Team.
