There is no doubt that this is a big shame since this girl is the youngest WWE Women’s Champion of all time. It looks like she has been with the WWE for ages, but actually, she is only 25 years old.
With that being said, it is likely that she is not going to wrestle anymore. Paige had a long break because she had some problems with her neck. The doctors feared that her career might be over back when she was in the recovery.
After a couple of surgeries, the medical experts have said that she was going to be able to make a full recovery. Paige finally made her return to the ring in late 2017, and it looked that she was going to be fine.
But, during the live event a couple of weeks ago, she suffered another injury. During the match, the officials had to throw up the “x” sign which is a signal that wrestler is hurt and that she can’t continue wrestling.
Initially, it looked like a severe injury. Then Paige got the good news that it was nothing serious. Now, we are learning that the doctors have told her that she should not wrestle anymore as not only her career but her well-being can be in danger. Edge, who was forced to retire in 2011, had the same kind of problems with his neck.
If he had continued wrestling, he would probably end up in a wheelchair. The same applies to this injury that happened to Paige as her neck problems are just too serious for her to continue taking pumps in the ring.
