This is probably the worst time for WWE Superstar to get injured. Even though it is never a good time for something like that, the fact of the matter is that no star wants to be on the sidelines for Wrestlemania and watch the biggest show of the year from the back. Unfortunately, it looks like one of the biggest stars on Monday Nigth Raw will have to do that.
Dean Ambrose didn’t wrestle on Monday Night Raw, and the rumors have begun to surface that he might be having some issues. Well, it appears that this is not just a minor injury and that Ambrose might be out for a long time. Here is what the official WWE website reported about his problem.
“An MRI has shown suspicion for a high-grade triceps tendon injury, possibly a team, so he is undergoing surgical exploration and most likely surgical repair of the torn biceps tendon. That surgery will be happening later this evening, and we should have some further updates either later tonight or tomorrow morning as to what the findings were, what the structures that were damaged were, and also a timetable for recovery.”
If these initial reports end up being true, the worst case scenario is for Ambrose to be out of the action for six months. That is going to cause him to miss more than just Wrestlemania and probably force him to come back in the summer.
His character has gotten somewhat stale over the past couple of months, and The Shield reunion was supposed to help him benefit a little bit.
Some reports and speculations suggested that he was planned to face Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania after turning heel, which would do a lot for his character. Whatever the case might be, it looks Ambrose will have to miss Mania. The fans are for sure going to pop when he returns, and it is going to give a boost to his Lunatic Fringe persona.
