As incredible as it sounded to some people, well-known American actor and former wrestler Dwayne The Rock Johnson has recently talked about the possibility of him running for president in 2024.

Namely, British GQ reported that the actor was just toying with the idea, but he still did admit that entering politics sounded “alluring” to him, mostly because it would make it possible for him to “make a real impact on people’s lives on a global scale.”

However, last Friday, on The Graham Norton Show, Kevin Hart, Jonson’s co-star in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle revealed that he wouldn’t let The Rock run for president. Dwayne himself first said: “Here’s the problem, it’s been very flattering. There’s been this really interesting uptick in public opinion, [people] wanting that to happen. The problem is that [Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle co-star Kevin Hart] will completely sabotage the campaign in 2024, 2024. He’ll literally sabotage it from the inside.” Then Kevin agreed: “One hundred percent. I will take you down. I don’t want it to happen because it will make you that much better than me, and I just don’t want it. I would sabotage it in a heartbeat.”

Nonetheless, Graham and the rest of his guests seemed to disapprove of Johnson’s decision to step back. Jessica Chastain said: “He’s so nice and he’s always showing gratitude. It’s nice,” while Rebel Wilson pledged to make a donation. We bet you’re wondering what Kevin Hart said after such responses. Well, he just sighed a simple “ugh.” Check the video below to take a look at this bit of the show.

The following episode of The Graham Norton Show airs this Friday, and it is supposed to be a Star Wars special, so Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie, Mark Hamill, and Sam Smith are expected to be Graham’s guests this time. Be sure to turn on BBC One at 10.35pm.
