Many things have been said about Roman Reigns over the past couple of years, but one of them isn’t that he is the best in-ring performer in the world. Some people just blindly hate everything about him, and they feel like he is a bad wrestler, that he doesn’t have any skills in the ring. But recently he has improved a lot and is more than capable of having great matches with a lot of people on the main roster.
Roman Reigns has stepped up his game big-time since he got that main event push that is still going on. Thinking that he can’t actually wrestle is kind of ignorant. We just need to look at his matches with guys like Strowman and Styles to see that he can really show a lot in the ring.
But, calling him the best in-ring performer in the world is a bit of a stretch. There are a lot of wrestlers that are at least on par with him and probably better. Roman, on the other hand, doesn’t feel that way. Here is what he had to say on the matter.
“I’m the best performer, in-ring, in the world right now. You can go to my matches and pay per views over the three years and you can say I’m an idiot or you can be like, ‘man, he has a point.’ Do you know what I mean? I didn’t come here for any other reason.”
In the same interview, he talked about wrestling with The Undertaker and just how emotional that was. For him, it was more emotional than he ever imagined. Regins feels that with that win he actually overtook Undertakers yard and made it his own. In his eyes, there is no doubt that The Big Dog is the top guy for a reason.
