The main event of the Survivor Series is likely going to be this Champion vs. Champion match where the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is going to face the WWE Champion AJ Styles. Before the Phenomenal One won the title last week, this was one of the least interesting duels at the show with Jinder Mahal facing the Beast Incarnate.
We can for sure say that WWE made a change in the positive direction as AJ Styles is going to be a much better champion than Mahal was, and for sure is going to be a better opponent for Brock Lensar than the Modern Day Maharaja.
This match really doesn’t need a build. It is going to be a privilege to watch these two in action as AJ Styles is one of the best that there is while Lesnar is the most legit athlete in the whole WWE. Wrestlemania-worthy battle right there.
The WWE champion is an underdog here. There is really no ifs, ands, or buts about that. For AJ Styles, it’s not about winning this match. It is about looking like a credible champion and somebody that is legit enough to make Brock fight really hard for the win.
A loss here to Brock Lesnar is not going to hurt him at all. If he has a good performance at the Survivor Series, it is going to do him wonders. On the other hand, WWE is going to keep Lesnar looking as good as they possibly can since they are going to prepare him for Roman Reigns to take him down. That is why we are picking Lesnar to win the match, but it is not going to be a squash.
