Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver claimed that he is ready to play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons.
Knee and ankle injuries tortured Bryant in recent weeks, and they also kept him off the training grounds on Wednesday and Thursday. Many started wondering whether he will be available for the Sunday game. However, following the Thursday’s practice, Bryant claimed how he firmly believes that he’ll be fit for the game.
‘Y’all know I’m playing Sunday. It’s not going to keep me from being out there on the field.’ Bryant stated.
But, in the meantime, Bryant changed his attitude and opinion towards the possible appearance on Sunday. He said how the decision whether he will play or not would be made by the training staff. He did underline that if it was up to him, he would play.
‘I feel I’m going to be on the field Sunday,’ Bryant said. ‘If I’m good, I’m going to go. The way that I feel right now, I’m going to go.’
The wide receiver also shared a few words on his knee injury. He stated how this time the severity of the injury is nowhere near that time when he missed three games in the previous season.
‘I could barely walk last year.’ Bryant stated. He added: ‘I’ve been walking fine. It’s good.’

Bryant is the leader of the Cowboys when it comes to receptions with 38 and receiving yards with 439. Cole Beasly and Dez have the same number of receiving touchdowns. They both stand at 4.
Bryant, however, is on the verge of becoming the franchise’s all-time leader in receiving touchdowns. He just needs one more. He is tied with Hall of Fame receiver Bob Hayes with 71 TDs. Surely, he’ll pass that margin.
