The America’s Got Talent judge may be seriously hurt.
The Sun reports that Simon Cowell was rushed to the hospital on the morning of Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, after falling in his house in London. Around 8 a.m., he was spotted wearing a neck brace and being transported via a stretcher into an ambulance.
“It’s been a scary morning,” a source told the paper. “It was very early and Simon was going down his stairs to get some hot milk because he couldn’t sleep.”
“He fainted and is thought to have fallen down the stairs,” the source continued. “An ambulance was called and he was stretchered out of the house in a neck brace surrounded by worried aides.”
The 58-year-old is reportedly undergoing tests at the hospital, though it’s been noted that he’s in stable condition.
According to People, Cowell’s partner, Lauren Silverman, is currently traveling from New York City to London, presumably to be with Cowell. She is said to have looked “concerned” as she boarded her flight.
Cowell is reportedly worried that he won’t be able to make it to the live taping of X Factor UK on Saturday, Oct. 28. But, considering he may have fallen down a flight of stairs, we’d hope that fans of the show would understand that he needs to take care of himself first.
