Week 8 has arrived, and the Dallas Cowboys are facing the Washington Redskins, who have 17 players on their injury report. This will be the second divisional battle for the Dallas Cowboys this season, and they will play the game in Maryland at FedExField. Unlike the Redskins who are plagued with injuries, Dallas will have two players out and three questionable.
Kicker Dan Bailey is definitely going to miss the game against the Redskins. This man suffered a groin injury in a win against the San Francisco 49ers last week, and he will be replaced with veteran Mike Nugent who signed with the Cowboys.
Another player who will be sidelined is rookie Chidobe Awuzie, who continues to struggle with a hamstring injury. Three players that are questionable at this moment for the America’s Team are defensive tackle Maliek Collins, who has a foot issue, Kyle Wilber with knee problems and linebacker Justin Durant who also hurt his groin, just like Bailey.
However, Dallas’ injury list doesn’t end with these players. Pro Bowler Sean Lee has had issues with the hamstring and the offensive tackle Tyrone Smith, who suffered a back injury are on the list, but they will be capable of playing on Sunday. Smith managed to recover and completed the last practice before the match, whereas Lee participated in every practice this week.
Luckily, Dallas is relatively healthy compared to their opponent, the Redskins. They have placed 17 players on the final injury report, as we have already said and among them are linebacker Mason Foster, center Spencer Long, and offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe. Ten out of 17 players are questionable for the match, and one of them is Pro Bowl cornerback Josh Norman.
With so many injuries, Dallas should have an advantage in the upcoming game? Who will win?
