Just two days before the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins game, Cowboys, added another player to their injury list. The man in question is a member of Dallas defense, defensive tackle Maliek Collins.
He was added to the injury report on Thursday, with a reported foot injury. He was included in practice squad but was limited during the workout. There was also another two players who were listed as limited. Those are linebacker Justin Durant and left tackle Tyron Smith.
Smith was unavailable for practice on Wednesday, but Dallas coaching staff was hoping that he will be ready for a full training session on Thursday. But, nonetheless, he is expected to be on the roster to perform on Sunday vs. Redskins.
Other Cowboys players, who are injured and written off for Sunday’s game are kicker Dan Bailey and cornerback Chidobe Awuzie. Also, Kyle Wilber didn’t practice on Wednesday and is doubtful for Redskins match.
If Maliek Collins is to miss the Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins, him not being on the field will be noticeable. Cowboys defensive tackle is having a solid season. He has played in all six games so far. During these matches, he has recorded two sacks and 14 total tackles. Last season he missed only two duels. Throughout 2016 campaign he had five sacks.
Despite Dallas Cowboys having few players with slight injuries, they haven’t been this healthy in a while. Yes, the kicker Bailey will be tough to replace, but rest of the essential players in the squad are ready. Sean Lee has healed his hamstring injury and was instrumental in the victory over 49ers. All in all, they should work on all cylinders on Sunday, and we predict their win here.
Unfortunately for Redskins, their injury report looks much worse. As we already talked, they have numerous guys missing. Among others, the players that will skip the game are All-Pro tackle Trent Williams, and cornerback Josh Norman. Let’s just say, Dez Bryant won’t miss him.
