The general opinion in the Internet Wrestling Community is that WWE has put together some of the worst television that they ever have in 2017. We can say that 2015 was the worst year ever, but 2017 is not much better. There are really no emotions in the storylines, they often don’t even make sense, the product that they are giving us is pretty bad considering the fact that they have the most talented roster in the history of the company.
Smackdown Live is not as popular as the flagship event that is Monday Night Raw. Because of that, Raw is almost every week going to attract more viewers than SD Live. In 2016, the blue brand had better shows, and they even surpassed the Raw, but that didn’t last long as the creative writing has been God awful since Wrestlemania. You can just take a look at the WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, and you will see what we are talking about.
This week, the main event of Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton attracted 2.9 million viewers, which is a huge jump from last week. One of the reasons for that might be the fact that Raw was under siege on Monday and people got interested in this Survivor Series buildup.
Raw superstars didn’t show up on Tuesday to answer the attack, but since there has been a possibility that they might do that, the fans didn’t want to miss that happening. Speaking of the red brand, their show also got a lot more viewers than last week, almost 9.5% more which is a huge increase. But, considering the fact that it was TLC Fallout show, it is understandable that the viewership is going to be on the rise.
