We all know that our favorite actor Dwayne Johnson was a pro wrestler before becoming a huge movie star. He was a pro wrestler with WWF/WWE from 1996 to 2004, and during that time he developed his own catchphrase that was stellarly popular, and it went – “Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?!” Well, he finally revealed what exactly he was “cooking” back then, and we bring it exclusively to you all!
The Rock went on Twitter just yesterday, and he decided to grace us all with the insight in his famous wrestling catchphrase. Here is what he wrote on his account – “actually, my wrestling persona, Rock’s backstory is that he’s an Executive Chef who specializes in moist Croquembouche (google it). 👨🏾🍳 https://twitter.com/jaywalkr/status/921888788804022272 …” This tweet came as a response to a fan who was wondering why hasn’t anyone ever asked what The Rock was actually cooking all these years? He got a swift response from Dwayne who wrote: “Actually, my wrestling persona, Rock’s backstory is that he’s an Executive Chef who specializes in moist Croquembouche (google it)”
Curiosity didn’t allow us to stop here, we actually googled it, and a moist Croquembouche is a French dessert consisting of choux pastry balls stacked like a cone and covered in caramel. Here is the pic if you don’t believe us!
How about that?! After all these years a simple question got us a simple answer, and it blew us away. It seemed that our beloved wrestler The Rock actually has a sweet tooth since he “specialized” into candy. Who would say?! Nevertheless, this part of his life is long behind, and now he is strongly focused on his acting career and all of his hits that have already been shown and all those that are in the making.
This massively popular actor isn’t without any “problems” though. Currently, he is stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to F&F franchise and his co-stars.
