With the news that F9’s premiere is being delayed, a new turmoil inside the family is happening, and this time the plot thickens around Tyrese and Dwayne. As we managed to find out, it seems that Tyrese is blaming Dwayne for the movie being delayed and for making it all about himself.
As it turns out, Tyrese went to Instagram Wednesday and over his social profile showed a huge discontent for Dwayne’s selfish behavior and his standalone movie spinoff (which will feature his character, Hobbs). Tyrese opinion is that this is the only reason why the Fast 9 is being postponed for an entire year (from announced April 2019 to now April 2024). Here is what Tyrese’s Instagram post wrote – “#PSA Congratulations to @TheRock and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner @hhgarcia41 for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU. And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post – Gn folks see you in 2024 April #FastFamily right? Nah… it’s about #TeamDwayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #Baywatch? Guys guys just relax I’m just a passionate film critic”
What is funny enough is the fact that this new Instagram call-out is coming a month after Tyrese tried to persuade Johnson to back of the Hobbs movie spinoff and to stay with the Fast and Furious family. A month ago he wrote – “If you move forward with that #Hobbs Movie you will have purposely ignored the heart to heart moment we had in my sprinter. I don’t wanna hear from you until you remember what we talked about. I’m on your timeline cause you’re not responding to my text messages – #FastFamily is just that a family…. We don’t fly solo”.
What is actually happening in the Fast and Furious family lately no one knows but, what is apparent is that nothing is working as it used to and a lot of petty differences are somehow making a lot of problems for these guys. One thing is for sure, a social and moral glue that held them together and help them fight anything is definitely missing. We all miss you Paul, it’s not the same…!
