If you are curious about what the Apple Watch can do, then take a look at Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) App Store. It is already listing app updates supporting the latest Apple gadget in town. The available apps are curated by Apple Inc..
What are the Apple Watch Apps all about?
Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) app update support for the smartwatch comes from Twitter, Dark Sky, things, Target, Sky guide and others.
Apparently Apple Inc.. has a reason to list these apps on the App Store, even as independent developers cannot update the apps before the device’s release, slated for April. Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) hopes to promote the App ‘alongside the Apple Watch.’
The apps are being released so as to assist reviewers to run third party apps and test Apple Watch capabilities. The intention is that Apple Inc. is keen to establish the fact that third – party apps which most users are familiar on the iPhone will work with Apple Watch.
The apps which will support Apple Watch are nearly all of those used with iPhone, including Evernote. Users are welcoming the move to release apps prior to the release of the device. In contrast, after Google Inc’s Glasses release, lack of apps to review the device was seen as a major hindrance to create a market segment for the device.
There appears to be a smattering of Apps for every segment of user. Like the British Airways App support for Apple Watch, with many more to come with time, it is assumed. Additionally, Expedia and Transit App have already made to the coveted Apple Watch support list. Sports fans have ECB Cricket as well. For the news hunters, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal are part of the list too. A surprise addition in WeChat!
However, all of these can be downloaded to the iPhone and paired with the Apple Watch when released.
