Field who is a technology officer and has roots deep in product and hardware design first at Segway and then at Ford, and later at Apple’s MacBook products, eventually became Vice President at Tesla Motors Vehicle program.
At last count, Tesla Motors has over 150 of Apple best and brightest now on its payrolls.
In CEO Elon Musk’s words, Apple’s engineers share the same ‘design philosophy’ and closely match the vision Tesla has into the future.
