Created by John de Mol and directed by Alan Carter, the reality TV singing competition The Voice first appeared back in April 2011 on NBC. Ever since then, we have had the chance to meet various actors and see their performances, but also to see how different coaches handle their important role in this show. Now, the time has come for the Season 13 to come out and bring us more memorable moments of joy and success.
When autumn comes, we all know that it’s time for new TV shows and new seasons of our favorite ones to see the light of day. Much to all fans’ delight, The Voice is on the list of those highly-anticipated series that have finally come close to their premiere dates. Just like the previous seasons, the upcoming sequel will also start with blind auditions which are set to begin on September 25 at 8 pm. The blind auditions will be held Mondays and Tuesdays, giving the coaches the chance to form their teams for the new season which will, without a doubt, be at least as exciting and successful as all the previous.
If you’ve watched the show, you probably remember that there are some coaches that made their appearance in several earlier seasons. These include Black Sheldon, Adam Levine, and Miley Cyrus. In fact, Sheldon and Levine never missed one season of The Voice so far, while Miley Cyrus was not there in Season 12 when Gwen Stefani took her place. In addition to these familiar members, one new member will also join the team for Season 13 – Jennifer Hudson, known for being a contestant on American Idol and her Oscar-winning performance in Dreamgirls. Hudson already has some experience in the role of a coach, as she was a part of the U.K. version of The Voice last year. In fact, her team eventually won the competition, so we guess that might be intimidating for the rest of the coaches.
Don’t miss the premiere on September 25 at 8 pm on NBC.
