Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) after its successful association with Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has now moved to Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) with a big bang. Adobe has developed an app which is compatible with the android mobile phones.
The company revealed that the app would be available for the mobile phones only and not for the tablets as the optimization design for both is different. The firm added that the app for the tablets is on its way and will be launched soon. Adobe is following the reverse procedure as it did with Apple, wherein the iPad app preceded the iPhone app.
The Lightroom Mobile app runs swiftly on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean & higher versions) with a minimum speed of 1.7 GHz quad core CPU. But it requires a least of 8 GB free space on the mobile phone to make sure rest of your apps are working effortlessly. Also it makes sure that your mobile phone doesn’t hang now and then, as the large space is consume by the app to shift the files in and out.
Tech Specs & Features
The android app is available free on android, the same way as was available with the iOS version. The only thing is one will need to have a Creative Cloud subscription for its flawless use. The mobile features of the app are quite limited as compared to that of the full set of features available on the computer. The company declares that its enhanced version of tool set is under development and will be made available, but the time limit hasn’t been defined.
The android app is quite similar to that of the iOS app, but the only difference is that the app’s commenting system is not available with the android app.
