No movie is better than a book, but the book-readers need to understand that some parts have to be changed and left out. This time, fans anger was justified when the Girl on the Train story was moved from London to New York. The atmosphere is different, and the purpose and tone of the journeys that are excellent in the books are lost in the film. Emily Blunt played an overweight woman, but she was too skinny and too beautiful for such a role.
