Big Cass and Carmella realized that they had feelings for each other when they became partners in NXT, but their relationship ended recently. Carmella was the one who addressed the audience in an episode of Total Divas. She pointed out that she and Cass had a lot of issues and they put pressure on themselves after buying a new house. Moreover, Cass had a knee injury which only added fuel to the fire.
