Dak Prescott is a started, and Kellen Moore should have been his backup. However, undrafted free agent Cooper Rush proved that he could play in the preseason, so he got that job. At first, it was Moore that was a backup, while Rush was inactive. After that, Rush took the spot to be the second QB, while Moore was released and signed again to the practice squad.
