Tombstone is dangerous because you need to lift your opponent with his head point to the ring floor. There were too many neck injuries in the late 1990s which resulted in banning this move. One of the most famous Tombstones gone wrong was when Owen Hart lifted Stone Cold Steve Austin and threw him to the ground. After that, he required surgery, and he was away from the ring for almost an entire year.
