3Stop ignoring need for a safety

Cowboys fans love Jeff Heath. They fell in love with him even more after 49ers game where he took kicker duties and after a game-saving tackle against Raiders which kept them in the playoff race at the moment. But, let’s get real. He’s not a starter. Heath is a worthy backup with an instinct for huge plays now and then and nothing more than that. He adds depth to the squad and is useful on special team plays but what Cowboys need is a starting caliber safety. Dallas higher-ups should open their checkbook this off-season and make a safety their top priority. Earl Thomas anyone?
