2Eric Decker

Decker has been a good receiver in the past. His three seasons with Jets from 2012 to 2015 were fun to watch. He recorded more than 4,000 yards combined in those four years on 326 receptions. All of that produced 41 touchdowns. But, in the last two seasons, he has been inconsistent and had injury issues.
Last season with Tennessee Titans was reasonably productive. He started eight games and appeared in all 16. Decker recorded 54 receptions for 563 yards and a single TD. Eric is a quality player but at this stage of his career Cowboys can’t be sure how good his numbers are going to be. A smart move would be to draft a WR instead, or to look for a more reliable target.
