3Doug Martin
Dallas franchise will look to add a backup RB to the roster. They will have to decide between drafting a young prospect or signing a veteran in FA. Doug Martin is one of the options, but Cowboys should pass on him. He’s 29 and has six seasons behind him in the NFL. During last two years, he earned a total of $5.7 million which is much more than what Cowboys plan to spend on an RB. Just remember, LeGarrette Blount played for Eagles on a veteran minimum last year and Cowboys will be looking for that kind of a deal.
Also, America’s Team will see DeMarco Murray as a better option. The player has been part of the franchise, knows the system and has worked well behind their O-line.
