1Dontari Poe, DT, Atlanta Falcons
Cowboys were interested in this player back in the day when he was about to enter the league. Instead, Dallas picked Morris Claiborne, and we all know how that ended. In the process, Poe went to Kansas City Chiefs.
From 2012 to 2017 he played for Chiefs. After his contract expired, he signed a one year contract with Atlanta Falcons worth $8 million. This guy signed a one year ‘prove it’ contract with Falcons, but things didn’t pan out as he expected. Atlanta will most likely release him after the season, and he will be available with a lower price tag. One of the reasons why he wasn’t performing like his old self is because Falcons told him to lose some weight which made him less disruptive for opponents offenses.
In Dallas, he could be back to his old self, and he would benefit from playing alongside DaMarcus Lawrence, David Irving, and Tyrone Crawford.
