5Eric Reid, SS, San Francisco 49ers
One of the main issues that Cowboys need to address in the off-season is the matter of strong safety. Not that Jeff Heath is a bad player he’s just not every down player and not a genuine superstar that the squad needs on that position.
One of the players that makes sense to fill the position is Eric Reid. He was picked up by 49ers in 2013. Interestingly the pick that Cowboys initially owned San Francisco used in picking Reid. During 2017 he has had 291 tackles and 10 interceptions. While these numbers sound good, he didn’t match expectations put on him when he entered the league. This could be used as a bargain in lowering his demands if Dallas tries to sign him. There is a possibility that 49ers will be willing to let him go because they will be focused to create strong offense for their new QB Jimmy G.
