In Cowboys offensive schemes, tight ends have a lot of blocking to do. That is why Virgil Green would be an excellent addition to the roster. During his seven seasons with Broncos, he’s been more of a run-blocker than a pass catcher. Last season he started 16 games. Green had 14 catches for 191 yards and one touchdown. In the season before that, he stated in eleven games but had 22 receptions for 237 yards and a touchdown. Both yards and receptions are his career highs.
