Dallas Cowboys dedicated last year’s draft to revamping their secondary by drafting no less than four DB’s. Through the season Awuzie, Lewis, and Woods showed promise, and that they could be counted on in the future.
But, more work can be done in that area.
During the draft in April, they could look to bolster their secondary a bit more with young college prospects. If Cowboys decide to choose the best player available at No 19 they could opt for Josh Jackson. During the last year at Iowa Jackson accumulated 18 pass breakups, 48 tackles, and eight interceptions. The only problem is that by the time Cowboys turn to pick comes around, someone else might already snatch him.
