Hyundai’s last design for Santa Fe was the one that hit the roads as a 2013 model, but now, almost four years later we have some news about the new version! Why is it so important? Because we strongly believe that 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe will be an important one. There are a lot of design modifications and to top that we even caught one roaming streets of Germany recently.
We acquired these photos at the Hyundai’s development center in Germany, the car was supposedly up for a test drive on public roads. If you remember, we talked about Hyundai Kona and this Santa Fe shares almost the same grille and headlights design combined of two parts. Thin LED strips are placed on top of the separate main beam units different to previous models where you had both the headlights and daytime running lights put together as one. This new approach should be a strong basis for all SUVs of the Hyundai’s lineup that will come in the next few years.
As we noticed in these photos, the new Santa Fe got rid of that curvy design that was so characteristic for its predecessor. Now having a flat, square grille, this new model seems bigger with a more upright rear end. However, take this with a pinch of salt since the car is heavily camouflaged.
