The spy shots of the new Ford Focus Sedan have surfaced, and now it is time to see what is below all those covers. OmniAuto.it tries to predict the design of the brand-new Focus which comes with a longer wheelbase and larger rear doors. The enhancements are expected in all aspects, but one of the most important will be the weight loss of 100 pounds.

Meanwhile, the five-door hatchback is expected to arrive in early 2018 whereas the wagon and sedan will follow later in the year. There is a possibility that the company is going to introduce a high-riding Focus Active just like it is the case with the Fiesta Active. One of these three body styles is going to come out with the rugged design and wagon is the top candidate because it should compete against Golf Alltrack, SEAT Leon X-Perience, and the Skoda Octavia Scout.
The Focus IV is going to hit the European market and some other markets outside the US next year, but the US residents will have to wait until mid-2019 to see the new generation. The 2019 Ford Focus will be sourced from China as Blue Oval decided to move production from Michigan to the People’s Republic mostly because the ongoing Focus is produced abroad.
